Hey friends! I have some super exciting news to share. I have been entering my photos into new competitions lately and these are the preliminary results from ViewBug. This business can be very difficult to manage alone and sometimes you have to toot your own horn a little bit. (Toot, toot!) 📯 Results are also still pending from Shoot and Share but those will be underwraps for a little while longer! I am happy to announce that 2 images of mine made it to Best of the Best which is the top 200 within their category. My goal this year was to make it to Round 12/12 and I surpassed that so I am over the moon.

‘Elopement Love’ placing 3rd overall was my very first wedding for someone outside of my family. (Though this Bride is now one of my best friends in the world!) This is a more recent edit of it. I love going back on old work as I find it is the best way to see how I have evolved. The only photographer you should compare yourself with is yourself. Thank you to Lux Life for sending me news of this award for Excellence in Wedding Photography for Canada - Thompson Country. 2021 will be my busiest year for weddings yet, and I am so excited for the images I will get to capture for my clients.

I really am thankful to get to create and work with all my clients and colleagues. This truly is my dream. It is a lot of hard work. And I MEAN a lot!
